MAP testing will be done for all students in grades K-11 during the week of January 21-24. Students in grades 7-12 will test from 8:00 am to 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 21 and Thursday, January 23. Elementary students' testing will be arranged with their homeroom teachers. Those teachers will be sending out a more specific schedule soon. The purpose of the MAP test is to measure student growth over the course of the year. The information from the testing is helpful in adjusting curriculum and instructional practices to meet the needs of the students. Parents can help in the preparation of the test by encouraging your child to do their best, ensure they have adequate rest and eat a good breakfast. Results will be shared and discussed with parents during parent-teacher conferences in February.
