My Broken Doll Assembly

My Broken Doll Assembly CANCELLED

Due to illness with the performers the assembly scheduled today has been cancelled.  We are working to reschedule the event.

On Wednesday, February 7 at 1:00 pm the Institute for Holocaust Education will be presenting My Broken Doll.

My Broken Doll is the dramatic adaptation of the Holocaust memoir of Beatrice (Stern) Karp. The play was co-commissioned and co-produced by the Institute for Holocaust Education and The Circle Theatre.

The play was specifically written for youth (middle and high school) audiences, as an educational vehicle with which to impart lessons of history, morality, and humanity. Drawn in by the personal experiences of Bea and the Stern family, audiences will explore the post-Holocaust imperatives of combating prejudice, welcoming diversity, and being active citizens.

Community members are also invited to attend.  The performance will be in the gym.
