FCS 7 exploring food labels at village market.
K-12 students, led by NHS members, are conducting a food drive for the Holt County Food Bank. As an incentive for reaching 120 donated items, school will release 1 day early for the semester. Students last day will be Tuesday, December 20. This will be a full day of school.
The first graders entered the Upper Elkhorn NRD poster contest with the theme "Healthy Soil, Healthy Life." We had Aubrey with a 3rd place finish, Hadley with 2nd place, and Sandy with 1st place! These three received monetary prizes for their posters. Sandy's poster will then be forwarded to the Nebraska Association of Resources Districts State Competition in Lincoln.
