Chambers Public School is currently accepting applications for an assistant custodian. The position offers a competitive hourly wage, sick leave, personal leave, flexible schedule, and district contribution to retirement. Job duties and requirements include general cleaning, sweeping, mopping, lifting, and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and can work with limited supervision. Interested candidates should submit a completed Chambers Public School application and letter of interest to Frank Jesse at Chambers Public School, PO BOX 218 or to fjesse@champberspublic.org The position will remain open until filled.

School Physical Information

NSAA requires Pre-Participation Physical Examinations (PPE) for all 7-12 grade students participating in athletic activities. Make sure to get this done before the fall sports season starts up in August!

FCCLA has a full day of competitions, workshops, and visiting the expo! Tonight, we will head to Magic Kingdom!

The CWC Dance Team and Mr. Jesse participated in the 4th of July parade in Chambers. 🇺🇸🧨🎆

Congratulations to Chambers alum Brad Larson on being inducted into the 2025 NEMFCA 8-Man Football Hall of Fame! -- A stand-out player for coach John Miller at Chambers, Brad was one of the all-time great players from the famed Niobrara Valley Conference. From 1996 to 1999 he became a 4-year letterwinner while leading the Coyotes to the Class D-2 State Quarterfinals and the Class D-1 State Semifinals in his final two years of high school. As a dual-threat quarterback and defensive back, he finished his career with over 3,500 yards of total offense and 43 TD’s, while also adding 260 tackles and 16 interceptions on defense. In his prep career, Brad was twice honored as a 1st Team All-Conference, Norfolk Daily News Top 20, and 1st Team All-State selection and was also chosen to play in the 23rd Annual Eight-Man All Star Game- where he was honored as a team captain for the West squad. After graduation, he went on to Doane College, where he became as a 3-year starter and 2-time All-GPAC punt returner and defensive back. In 2007, Brad enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he not only served honorably, but was awarded the Silver Star and the Purple Heart for his heroic service to our country. Brad represents the very best of the heart and spirit that the young men in our state play Eight-Man Football with. The NEMFCA is honored to now induct him into the Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

There will be NO summer music lessons on Monday the 16th! Lessons will resume on the 23rd.

The CWC Basketball programs had a great couple of days working on skills with Shane Hennen!

Reminder, sealed bids for the Chambers section of the gym floor is due to the school office by noon on Friday, June 6. Also, we are looking for volunteers age 18 and older to help carry out gym floor sections starting at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 8.
