Chambers FFA member Haily Schaaf pictured with her FFA Advisor Karlee Johnson was one of the students awarded funds through the Nebraska FFA Foundation grant program with nearly $80,000 awarded in total in grant funding. This grant program, in its fifth year, supports Nebraska agricultural education classrooms, FFA programs and individual student entrepreneurship Supervised Agricultural Experiences. Haily applied for this grant last spring and received $2,000 which she combined with funds earned this past summer to purchase a new lawn mower for her ever growing business. Haily’s business includes mowing, trimming, landscaping, and any other kind of yard work her customers can dream up! Congratulations Haily!
