Chambers is hosting the NVC conference choir concert today at 5:30 PM. Students have been rehearsing since 10:30 this morning with Mr. Schut from Ogallala.
Fifth grade used their convincing mindsets on while compiling their reasonings and finding facts to back up their reason for their persuasive writing projects. Their topics included things such as why you should plants trees, why welding is a great career path, and why coffee isn’t the healthiest option an energy boost. They gave their research sources credit for their work by creating a Works Cited page.

Sixth grade buckled down and did amazingly on their comparison writing projects. They compared thing such as the Loch Ness Monster and Megladons, court volleyball and beach volleyball, World War 1 and World War 2, and everything in between. They did a great job citing their research sources in a Works Cited page.
The Child Development class spent the week practicing their parenting skills. They are more than ready to catch up on sleep! 😁

Here is some information on the CWC Renegade Midnight Madness Basketball Camp on Friday, November 15th and Saturday, November 16th.
Girls and boys in grades 3rd - 8th have been sent home with forms for camp. If you need another form, then contact the school. Forms will need to be returned by Friday, November 1st. The forms can be turned in at Chambers Public School or Wheeler Central Public School.
