The Renegades braved the cold and wind today at the O’Neill invite. The team placed 9th with a 392. William placed 13th with his score of 88! The boys will play in the NVC tournament next Tuesday at Tatanka Golf Club!

The JH trackmeet yesterday was canceled due to storms and we were lucky enough to get into another meet last minute at Laurel. The bus left at 5:30am and even though the kids highly disliked the early morning, they went out and competed hard!!! The Renegade golfers had an impressive showing at their quadrangular versus Summerland, Creighton, and Niobrara/Verdigre. The boys shot a 185 as a team, taking 2nd place over all. William shot a 39 to place second as an individual! The boys are back at it tomorrow in O’Neill!

The sophomore class distributed pinwheels around the school campus today to bring awareness to National Child Abuse Prevention Month. In 2008, Prevent Child Abuse America started using blue pinwheels to signify a vision where all children can grow up in supportive families and communities. Blue pinwheels are a reminder of the role we all play in children's lives and that we all need a circle of support. The pinwheels were provided by the Holt Boyd Community Connections Coalition.
