The Cross-Country meet scheduled for Thursday, August 27 in Burwell will begin at 10:00 AM. The order of events will be; HS girls, HS boys and then junior high.

Volleyball Specific
• Teams will not switch benches between sets
• There will be a designated area in the bleachers for masks and no masks. Please sit in your preferred location, do not go to the other section, and maintain proper social distancing.
• Locker rooms will be disinfected prior to your arrival.
• Concessions will be provided
• Each team bench will have a marked off space that no fans will be allowed to be in.
• All elementary aged students are expected to sit with their parents/guardians. They will not be allowed to be in the hallways except when going to the restroom or concessions.
• No crock pots or meals will be allowed to be served to the players. They may have a grab and go type meal that they can eat on their bus.
• No fans will be allowed inside the basketball court following a game. We ask that everyone leave the facility as soon as the final game is done.

The monthly coffee with the Superintendent will be held tomorrow at Green Acres from 7:45 am to 8:45 am. Open forum if you have any questions, comments or concerns about the district.
Back to school brings back locally grown and processed beef for school lunches!

As a reminder, the August School Board meeting will be conducted in the gym to allow for social distancing. Meeting begins at 8:00 PM.
The annual Title I parent meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 20 at 6:00 pm in the school library.
The CWC Zoom meeting that was scheduled for Tuesday, August 18 at 8:00 pm has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for an in-person meeting. The date and time will be posted once available.
Chambers Splash Pad Committee is hosting a Back To School Color Fun Run/Walk tomorrow. It's not to late to register! Registration takes place at the Fitness Center at 8:30 am with the run/walk starting at 9 am.
Students must submit a computer agreement form before they can receive a laptop. This form is available in the Coyote Connection or this copy may be printed and submitted.
School resumes tomorrow!! A couple of reminders: Classes begin at 8:05. Temperature checks will be administered on every student before entering. 7-12 students will need the $30 computer fee check before computers will be released.
As a reminder our first parent meeting will be held tonight at 6:00 pm in the gym. Please use social distancing, face covering are optional. The main topic will cover the Return To Learn Plan.

Brooke, Mary, and Alexis all placed first in their categories at the National FCCLA Conference and received a scholarship to the culinary school in Fort Worth! Congratulations!

Chambers Public School is currently in the green risk assessment and is moving forward with resuming school under the Return to Learn protocols. Faculty report Monday, August 10 and students on Thursday, August 13. Thursday is a full day of school, 8:05-3:27.
