Fourth grade presented their persuasive writing projects. They did an excellent job of stating their claims and backing them up with facts they found. They even completed a Works Cited page to credit their articles they used! Topics ranged from “The Benefits of Taekwondo” and “Why People Should Move to a Small Town.”

Last week Rose, Paige, and Savannah traveled to Stuart to complete their State Degree interviews. To earn a State FFA Degree, members must meet rigorous requirements in leadership, SAE growth, and community involvement. They will receive this high honor at the State FFA Convention in March. Congratulations!

Yesterday, 5th grade presented their explanatory writing projects. They ranged from “how to have a Pokémon card battle” to “how to start a babysitting business”.

The 1st graders presented their writing projects on the importance of folktales. Some worked with partners and others chose to work individually.

Annie made a surprise visit during elementary recess today. Unsure who enjoyed it more, Annie with all the extra pets or the students.
